A diamond grading certificate or report can be considered as the ‘fingerprint’ of the diamond itself. It describes the stone in technical detail to verify its value and identity. Although it does not assign monetary value to the stone, as an appraisal does, but provides its evaluated characteristics. If you are purchasing a diamond, it's important to ask for and know how to read a grading report so you can make sure you're getting what you pay for.
What is a Certificate?
A certificate is like a ‘blueprint’ of a diamond, it provides us with the diamond's exact measurements and weight, as well as the details of its cut and quality. It precisely points out all the individual characteristics of the stone thereby verified by several experts. More importantly a diamond certificate serves as a proof of a particular diamond's identity and value.

Types of Certificate with your stone
Every loose diamond sold by TriJewels comes with a certificate. It depends on the stone you have taken and what laboratory has certified the same.
We do carry stones from five main gemological laboratories around the world, the two main and most respected and trusted laboratories in the diamond industry are Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the American Gem Society Laboratories (AGSL), the other laboratories are also trusted and good for the type of stone you are buying and the price you are paying for the same.

Why do i need a certificate?
Shopping for certified diamonds allows you to make an
informed choice about your diamond selections and to comparison shop among various diamond merchants.You can compare one diamond with a particular weight and quality with other diamonds of similar weight and quality to determine which diamond is the better value --or which merchant has the best prices.
[NOTE: If a jewelry store offers to sell you a loose diamond without a certificate, keep in mind that it means you are buying the diamond based only on the salesperson's claim about its quality, and that a trained gemologist or even other jewelers may disagree with the salesperson's assessment.]
